Loving God's People Since 2014
How It All Started...

In 2010, an earthquake devastated the country of Haiti. That same year, Beverly Burton retired after 30 years in public school education in Texas. Looking for a new group of people to minister to, she signed up for relief mission work, which later led to teaching English in the capital of Port-au-Prince.

In 2014, Beverly met Pastor Levy Mainviel and his wife, Rose. They had a God-given desire to start a school in the small town of Petit-Goave, two hours southwest of the capital. After much prayer and planning, Christian Academy of Petit-Goave opened in August 2014 and currently has 185 students and 18 teachers and staff.
